ACTT Joins Regional Partners in Celebrating
Antigua and Barbuda Accreditation Board's 20th Anniversary

The Accreditation Council of Trinidad and Tobago (ACTT) proudly joined regional quality assurance agencies in celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the Antigua and Barbuda National Accreditation Board (ABNAB) at a gala held on June 27, 2026. The milestone event brought together representatives from the Ministry of Education, members of the ABNAB Board, as well as regional and local partners to commemorate two decades of promoting and safeguarding quality assurance in higher education in Antigua and Barbuda.
Representing ACTT at the event was Executive Director, Curtis Floyd, who joined colleagues from the Barbados Accreditation Council (BAC) and other regional quality assurance agencies in celebrating this significant achievement. Mr Floyd also participated in an interview broadcast on ABS TV Antigua, during which he discussed the value of regional collaboration in advancing quality assurance across the Caribbean. The anniversary celebration was also featured in the Point Express, Volume 9, Issue 81, in the article "ABNAB Celebrates 20-year Anniversary" on page 11.
ACTT congratulates the Antigua and Barbuda National Accreditation Board on reaching this important milestone and commends its contributions to strengthening higher education quality over the past two decades.
